Capital Selection was created by Nick Stevens. Nick has a Bristol University Computer Science degree and started out his career in the Fintech and Software sectors; selling products, delivering projects and building teams. After 9 years in this sector Nick founded an executive search business in 2008. He led that business to revenues of £21M, building a team of over 100 people and establishing operations in 3 continents. Having exited via an MBO Nick formed Capital Selection in 2016 to connect the best talent and the brightest companies in the fintech sector.
We believe the executive search sector misses the point of the fintech industry. Few companies offer specialist services focused solely on the fintech vendor community. As a consequence hiring options for these sectors are poor and this hampers the performance of these sectors. Capital Selection was founded to bridge that gap by bringing expert fintech industry knowledge to the executive search processes for fintech companies.
